Community Taizé

Every year, tens of thousands of people find their way to the community of Taizé in Burgundy, France, a place where you can find deep calm and a sense of togetherness. Founded in 1944 by Swiss theologian Roger Schutz

In Taizé doors are open to all, welcoming young people seeking a moment of peace and reflection in today’s fast-paced world.

People usually comes for a week, the rhythm of life here is simple yet transformative: singing and praying together three times a day, sharing meals, attending workshops, and embracing the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world, the week culminates on Sundays, where they celebrate Easter and Good Friday each week.
