The Nile Journey

2017 - Ongoing

Since 2017, my journey along the Nile has been shaped by a deep curiosity to see, document, and understand the river through photography. From one of its sources to where the White and Blue Niles merge in Khartoum, I’ve followed the river’s path through moments of daily life, history, and change.

Photography was the beginning a way to witness the Nile up close and from afar. Over time, it led to deeper research, writing, collaborations, and film. But this journey always starts with images.

This album is not a linear timeline. It’s a visual map of encounters, observations, and emotions my way of seeing the Nile. If you’re curious to know and explore more about the photos and the journey, you can visit the Visual Research section and discover the Nile Chapters that emerged from this ongoing project.
